In summer, I love to look for the perfectly circular holes in the fireweed leaves that tell me the leaf-cutter bees are nesting. They make cocoons from leaves and petals, for the next generation of bee to grow in. This piece is a print of original artwork, drawn and painted digitally and printed onto thick card stock, by artist Kristen Cooper.
